Break a Leg? Season of Concern
Following a typical performance of A Christmas Carol in a typical year, you would be greeted by cast members collecting donations in any amount for a good cause—Season of Concern.
A nonprofit organization that supports Chicagoland theater makers in times of need, Season of Concern relies on individual donations to help provide necessary short-term emergency funds for our community. Audiences of A Christmas Carol have generously donated nearly $600,000 to Season of Concern over the past three decades—marking the longest-standing contributions that amply reflect the spirit of kindness and compassion that lies at the heart of this holiday classic.
Though we cannot be together this year, the Goodman is proud to continue its tradition and support our creative community. A portion of all contributions made in support of the Audio Play will also aid Season of Concern.
